When this report is required
- To provide an independent actuarial and clinical analysis of violent or sexual recidivism risk
- To assist the Parole Board in determining whether a prisoner’s risk can be safely managed in the community
- To evaluate the presence of “dangerousness” for extended or life sentencing purposes
- To review a Risk Management Plan (RMP) when a prisoner is being considered for release on licence
